Project Units

WP1 methodological framework design and user requirements [M1-M4]

The aim of the WP1 is to identify, analyze and prioritise end-user needs and current trends in order to translate these requirements into technical specifications to support an innovative system for recording and implementing fertilization needs in real time.

WP2 Intelligent Data Processing and storage system [M5-M10]

WP2 aims to develop the data collection, analysis and processing system, which will be derived from the hyperspectral sensor system in conjunction with the application of artificial intelligence software to identify and record weeds. Within the framework of this platform, an interface will be developed for the output of the results in a user-friendly environment (farmers). Finally, methods of storing the data in cloud computing will be studied for better and easier management.

WP3 integration of variable rate application system and services [M10-M16]

The study and implementation of hyperspectral sensor for the detection and recording of fertilization needs, as well as the design and construction of a smart micro-controller system and the adaptation of the fertilizer spreader will be carried out in this work module.

WP3 integration of variable rate application system and services [M10-M16]

The WP4 includes the actions needed to demonstrate and verify IRIS-TECH technologies, including their integration to develop an integrated differentiated fertilisation system to be tested in field conditions (2 practical scenarios). Testing the system will be a key element to demonstrate its effectiveness, allowing feedback with the aim of further optimising and validating the system.

WP5 extroversion and sustainability actions [M1-M28]

The aim of the WP5 is to develop an exploitation strategy to commercialise and communicate the results and benefits of the project.

WP6 participation in trade fairs [M14-M28]

WP6 aims to broaden the commercial environment through participation in agricultural fairs.
